The little kids like to watch their parents take good care of them. This parenting role goes all the way down to what the children nowadays have developed as part of their playtime. This is the ability to be able to look after others. The teddy bear comes in handy because most of the young ones prefer using them for various purposes such as having their own virtual friend whom they can hang out with when they are bored and lonely. It is an easy task to make your own teddy bear instead of going to buy them at high prices.

A person is able to make their own teddy bear from scratch just at their leisure time or they can join hands with the manufactures in an effort to come up with their dream item, one that is of their personal preference. They can decide on what color the eyes should e, what the outfit will be like and also what additional designs they would prefer so at the end of the day they have their own custom made toy.

It is not a common occurrence that people get to receive gifts that have been custom made by their loved ones. No matter how small or how stitched they may appear this is one of the cutest efforts one can make towards another and they are kept among the most memorable gifts of all time. However, this does not come out easy. There are some steps that need to be followed and materials that one has to put together.

Sewing is the most activity that is carried out hence one cannot do without a needle and a thread. Additional items like scissors, buttons, and materials to be used for stuffing are required. Permanent marker pens also come in handy. Personal virtues like patience and creativity are necessary. This is because a lot of time and energy is invested here hence the impatient ones will end up giving up in the end time because they will feel bored and exhausted.

The different body parts are prepared at different times. The first part is the arms; these are made by sewing and leaving behind small openings at the top. The legs are sewed next and following the same procedure, the head is created with the nose and all the other things. The main body is formed and taking into account that all the part have been properly made, the following step is now stuffing.

Stuffing is done using different materials. Prior to this, the body parts are turned inside out. Material for this purpose can be very diverse and can range all the way from pieces of sponge to old clothes that have no more use. The head is now attached d to the body by stitching around its neck, same applies to the arms and the legs but these are fixed at the sides and the bottom respectively. The eyes are made from the available buttons while the mouth and the eyebrows are drawn using ink.

The end product can be used during a number of occasions. They can be handed over to a small child as a toy, one can also give someone special or to a sick friend in hospital encouraging them to get well soon. People may not be aware but these are some of most treasured gifts of all as the recipients are flattered on the great amount of time one took just to put a smile on their faces.

This is also an investment as forgetting that it saves one money, if the outcome is good, it can be a business opportunity to many people whereby the ears can be sold in exchange for money hence a means of earning a living.
